JUNE 30, 2009 — Yokohama, JapanDigilab, Inc. announces the formation of a new wholly owned subsidiary in Japan, Digilab Japan Inc., under the direction of President and General Manager Mr. Shinei Furuta. Digilab Japan Inc., based in Yokohama, will provide sales and service support to Digilab’s growing network of distributors and agents in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. Digilab’s new office will house a staff of applications and service specialists who will work directly with Digilab’s distribution partners in Asia, providing applications and service training, performing demonstrations of Digilab instrumentation, and conducting analyses on customer samples, to demonstrate Digilab’s capabilities in solving its customer’s problems. "Mr. Sidney Braginsky,Chairman of Digilab Inc. USA, assigned me to develop the Asian/Pacific market of DIGILAB products after my work for Olympus," explains Shinei Furuta. " I had been a Director of New Business development Division of Olympus Europe GmbH, a board member of Olympus Corporation of America, and I also newly build-up for Waseda-Olympus Bio Research Institute in Singapore.
